Ruff Driverz was the dance music outfit comprising of English DJ and remixers Brad Carter and Chris Brown. The duo also recorded under the names 2000BC and Transit. They worked with Katherine "Arrola" Ellis (credited as "Ruff Driverz Presents Arrola") on the flamenco-inspired "Dreaming" and the "La Musica". The former being their biggest UK hit reaching the top 10 and spending a total of 2 weeks at #1 on UK Dance Chart in December 1998. Their debut single, "Don't stop" also reached #1 on the UK Dance Chart in February 1998. Their last single whilst only reaching #37 in the UK, got all the way to #2 on the US Dance chart.

Unfortunately nothing new of note from Ruff Driverz since 1999. However, the duo have also recorded material under the names 2000BC and Transit.Ruff Driverz. Katherine Ellis has been featured artist with the Freemasons, Dave Lee/Joey Negro, Roger Sanchez and Cerrone. She has also done some TV advert work as well.
