Right Said Fred

Love, shirt, Milan, New York, Japan, Party, car and hat were the things Right Said Fred were too sexy for. Right Said Fred are group formed by brother Richard and Fred Fairbrass. They were joined by Rob Mazoli in 1990. Their name came from the Bernard Cribbins 1962 song of the same name. Together, they are best known for the song "I'm too sexy", which spent 7 weeks at UK#2 behind Bryan Adams' "Everything I do" in 1991. "I'm too sexy" did spend 3 weeks on the top of US Billboard Hot 100 and the Canada Dance Chart in February 1992. Right Said Fred also collaborated with Jocelyn Brown on "Don't talk just kiss" and their only UK#1 was "Deeply Dippy" which spent 3 weeks at #1 in April 1992.

What happened next?
Rob Mazoli left the group in 1997. Right Said Fred had another UK top 20 in October 2001 with "You're my mate". Their most recent release was "We are Criminals" in December 2020.
