The Tamperer is an Italian dance/house projects of producerts Alex Farolfi and Mario Fargetta, This enlisted the vocals from American born singer Maya Days. They are best known for sampling the Jacksons "Can you feel it" on the UK and Canada Dance #1 hit, "Feel it" in 1998. The follow-up "If You Buy This Record Your Life Will Be Better" that sampled Madonna's "Material World" reached the top 3 in the UK. Both songs were

What happened next?
The Tamperer would a further hit with "Hammer to the heart" in February 2000, when it reached #6 in the UK. The producers also used the Tamperer alias to produce and remix other artists, such as Crystal Waters. Maya went on to be primarily a broadway actress (including Rent, Jesus Christ Superstar and Aida) and has made the odd TV appearances in dramas, "Damages," "Law and Order" and "Melange"
