Genesis

Genesis are an English rock group consisting of keyboardist Tony banks, bassist/guitarist Mike Rutherford (Mike & The Mechanics) and drummer/singer Phil Collins. They were formed in 1967 and did have Peter Gabriel and guitarist Steve Hackett in their early line-up.
In the 1990s, after hiatus for solo projects Genesis released their 14th album, "We can't dance" and from it came tongue-in-cheek song and video for "I can't dance" and "No son of mine".

What happened next?
In 1996, Phil Collins left the Genesis amicably having celebrated 25 years with the band. Ray Wilson of Stiltskin replaced him and they continued to record. Finally in 2000, the group decided it would no longer be recording or touring. Over the years, they have been much speculation that there would be a reunion. In 2020, Genesis announced the Last Domino? tour but due to the COVID pandemic, this has been pushed back into 2021.
