Venga Boys

Vengaboys is a Dutch Eurodance music group created by producers Dennis van den Driesschen (Danski) and Wessel van Diepen (Delmundo). The group contained female vocalists Kim Sasabone and Denise Post-Van Rijswijk and male vocalists Robin Pors and Donny Latupeirissa. They are best known for a series of party songs in the late 90s. Their debut track, "Up and Down" in 1998 was more an Eurohouse track with limited vocals but was #1 on both the UK and US dance charts and reached #4 on the main UK chart. The follow-up "We like to party" (Vengabus)" was similar to "Up and Down" but with vocals and reached #1 on the Canada Dance chart in 1999. "Boom boom boom boom" gave Vengaboys their first UK #1 in June 1999 and was their second Canada Dance #1. A variation of Typically Topical's "Barbados" called "We're going to Ibiza" followed as a second UK #1 in September 1999.
