Together

Together were an English group consisting of Jonathon Donaghy and Suddi Raval. They are best known for the rave track, "Hardcore Uproar", which uses samples of Obi Wan Kenobi from Star Wars and John Carpenter's "The End". Pressed as a white-label, it not only achieved the goal of getting it played at the legendary Hacienda nightclub in Manchester, but also reached #12 in the UK music chart.

What happened next?
Suddi is still based in Manchester, has composed the music for numerous video games and now has his own audio design company. There is a hint of irony, in that Johon Carpenter's "The End" was also sampled on the Bomb The Bass' "Megablast", which was featured on the shoot-em up computer game, "Xenon 2". He put together a book called "A Brief History Of Acid House." and released a track called "The perspective" in 2020. He has a new project called "SiOS". Tragically Jonathon and his girlfriend Emma (who provided the vocals on The Together Mix) were both killed in a road accident on the island of Ibiza, circa 1991. R.I.P. A tribute night for them called Harmony was held at the Hacienda in September 1991.
