Basement Jaxx

Basement Jaxx is an English electronic duo consisting of Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe. Felix and Simon formed group after meeting at a riverboat party on the Thames in 1993. The name of the group came from the regular night club the pair held in Brixton. Their first hit came in 1997 with "Fly Life" and followed up with "Red Alert", which sampled Locksmith's "Far Beyond" from 1980. Their biggest hit to date was "Rendez-Vu", which reached #4.
