Apache Indian

Steve Kapur (born May 11), better known as Apache Indian is a musician that fused bhangra and reggae is best know for his songs "Boom shack-a-lak" (Nuff Vibes EP) and "Make way for the Indian". He has also worked with both Maxi Priest and Wreckx-N-Effect.

What happened next?
At the end of 2020, Apache Indian was awarded a British Empire Medal (BEM) in the New Year's Honours for his community work in setting up a music academy in home city, Birmingham and inspiring young people. Also "Boom shack-a-lak" has been used in the Lynx UK adverts.
