The Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin is an American-born (Mar 25), whose career spanned the 1950s right through to the 2010s. Her first hit in the 90s, "Think" was on a double-A side with the Blues Brothers "Everybody Needs Somebody To Love" from the same said movie. Her biggest hit in the 90s was "A deeper love", which was also on a movie soundtrack, "Sister Act 2: Back in the habit".

What happened next?
Aretha so many accolades, inducted to various halls of fame. Notably she won a gospel grammy for "Never gonna break my faith", which also made US #1 on the Gospel chart in 2020 to commerate Juneteeth. She also covered Adele's "Rolling in the deep" in 2014. Sadly though Aretha passed away in 2018.
