Dream Warriors

Dream Warriors were a Canadian hip hop duo from Toronto, comprising of King Lou (aka Louis Robinson) and Capital Q (Frank Allert). Like Digable Planets are an early proponent of Jazz Rap. They are best known for the jazzy "Wash your face in my sink" and "My Definition of a boombastic jazz style" which heavily sampled Quincy Jones "Soul Bossa Nova." The song was actually also a nod to an old obscure 70s Canadian quiz show, "Definition", which also used "Soul Bossa Nova" as its theme tune.

90 Hits (Discography):
Date UK	Song
Jul 1990 16	Wash Your Face In My Sink
Nov 1990 13	My Definition Of A Boombastic Jazz Style
Apr 1992 39	Ludi

What happened next?
Dream Warriors couldn't quite match the international success of "And now the legacy begins" with their three subsequent studio albums, "Subliminal Simulation" (1994), "The master plan" (1996) and "The Legacy Continues" (2002). They disbanded at some point and have not released anything new in 20 years.
