Here look at a couple of acts who had a brief pop career before going on to far bigger things.
First is PJ & Duncan who were alias for characters on the BBC TV children's series "Byker Grove." PJ was portrayed by Anthony David McPartlin (Nov 18) and Duncan by Joseph Oliver "Dec" Donnelly (Sep 25). They were then known for the UK Top 10 hit, "Let's Get Ready To Rhumble." Their last UK top 40 hit, "Stepping Stone" was a cover of Paul Revere and The Raiders.

What happened next?
PJ and Duncan reverted to their real names Ant & Dec and have become a much loved double act in the UK and recently won best TV presenter at the NTA for the 20th time. By popular demand, they re-released "Let's get ready to rhumble" and that reached #1 in the UK in 2013. Meanwhile, Stakka Bo reverted to his real name Johan Renck and is most notable for winning awards for directing Chernobyl.
