Orbital

Orbital is a Techno outfit, founded in the late 80s by the brothers Paul and Phil Hartnoll. Their name is taken from the London's orbital motorway, the M25, which they were brought up nearby (in Sevenoaks). They are best known for the debut single, "Chime" and the top 3 hits "Satan Live" and "The Saint". They came to attention in 1994 when they won an NME award for Vibes Best Dance Act early in 1994 and made a headline appearance at the Glastonbury Festival on 25th June 1994. It wasn't until 1997 though when a live version of "Satan" was released. They contributed to multiple film soundtracks (Event Horizon, Spawn and The Saint). The theme to the Saint was reworked and made #3.
