KWS are an English dance act consisting of producers Chris King and Winston "Winnie" Williams, and vocalist Delroy St. Joseph. The name comes the first letter of each member's surname. They are best known for taking KC and Sunshine Band's "Please don't go" to #1 on the UK chart for 5 weeks in May 1992. Around same time, a second version by the group Double You, which was #1 in Belgium and Holland and generally big in Europe, stalled at #41 in the UK. KWS' other UK top 10 was a cover of George McCrae's "Rock your baby".

What happened next?
Not a lot of activity from KWS past the 1990s. In 2004, in an interview it was revealed that Chris King was running a factory making and supplying 12" vinyl to the music industry. He also appeared on Never Mind the Buzzcocks identity parade, said to be renovating classic scooters in 2009.
