Jocelyn EnriquezJocelyn Enriquez is a Philippine-American born (Dec 28) dance-pop singer. She holds the distinction of being the first Filipino American to make it in the mainstream music industry. Dubbed as the new "Queen of Freestyle", Enriquez was the first artist to be signed by Classified Records, a Filipino-owned recording company when it was established in 1993.
Enriquez's single "Do You Miss Me?" reached #49 on the Billboard singles chart, #7 in Singapore, and #12 in Canada. The followup "A Little Bit of Ecstasy" was #1 on US Dance Sales chart as it reached #55 on Billboard singles chart although the song was alledgedly ripped off. She teamed up with Ultra Nate and Amber as Stars on 54 as they took their version Gordon Lightfoot's "If you could read my mind" into the UK Top 40 and was #1 on the Canada dance chart.
