Together they released a second album, "Chocolate Milk", which included "Wounded bird" from the 1995 movie "True Romance". The pair amicably split up in 1997.
Tragically, Charles suffered from cancer and died in 2001, at the tender age of 37. Eddie had been silent until 2020, when the Fader announced the return of the "low-key R&B legend". He released "My mind is out of its mind" and "Trouble" from the album, "Pleasure, Joy and Happiness".
