Beats International / Lindy Layton

Beats International was a British dance and hip-hop outfit created by Norman Cook (who was a member of the House Martins and later known as Fatboy Slim). The line-up included vocalist Lindy Layton who had chart success in her own right (with "Silly Games" and "We got the love") as well as Lester Noel, rappers DJ Baptiste (The Crazy MC), MC Wildski and keyboardist Andy Boucher. Much like Gorillaz in the future that had graffiti artist, REQ to help with their visuals. Their biggest hit was the dub version of "Just be Good To Me", which was originally a Number 13 hit in 1984 for the SOS Band.
