Zig & Zag are an irish puppet duo who first appeared on Irish TV in 1987. The characters are a pair of furry extraterrestrial twins from the planet Zog. In 1992, the pair appeared on the Channel 4 breakfast show "The Big Breakfast" which led to bizarre release of "Them girls them girls" a couple of years later.

What happened next?
After their stint of the Big Breakfast and their own TV show, "Zig and Zag show" finished in 1998, they made sporadic appearances after 90s. Zig & Zag returned in 2020 on irish Children's TV show, "The Den".
