Robyn

Robin Miriam Carlsson (or just Robyn) is a Swedish pop singer, songwriter and producer. Her breakout album, "Robyn is here" was an international hit featuring "Show me love" and the Canada Dance #1 hit, "Do you know (what it takes)".

What happened next?

Rick Astley

Rick Astley is an English born (Feb 6) singer who is best known for numerous late 80s singles. During the 90s, he went a different way from the manufacture sounds of Stock, Aitken and Waterman with a standout hit with "Cry for help" that featured the Andrae Crouch Choir providing backing vocals in the interlude.

Rick Astley went into the wilderness for a number of years (actually retired after "Hopelessly" but came back with the some new material in the mid 2000s but came to everyone's attention with the rickrollin' meme. In 2016, Rick had a UK #1 album with "50".

Richard Marx

Richard Noel Marx is an American born (Sep 16) adult contemporary and pop rock singer-songwriter. He had continued success in the 90s after his self titled album featuring "Right here waiting" and "Satisified". In the 90s, he is best known for the UK Top 3 hit, "Hazard".

Roni Size

Ryan Owen Granville Williams (better known as Roni Size) is an English born (Oct 29) DJ and producer who came to prominence in 1997 with Reprazent, a drum and bass collective. They had 4 Top 40 hits in the UK with three of them, "Share the fall", "Heroes" and "Watching Windows" all reaching #1 on the UK Dance chart. Ironically, it was their other hit, "Brown Paper Bag" that gave them their biggest UK hit. They also won the mercury music prize for their debut studio album, "New Forms".

Red 5

Red 5 is a monkier used by German DJ and Eurodance musician, Thomas Kukula. The name is of course call sign used in the classic Star Wars universe. He is best known for the song, "I love you... stop!" which memorably used DJ Quicksilver's "Belissima" as its main beat (ir vice versa). A second song, "Lift me up" reached #1 on Canada Dance Chart in 1998.

Thomas Kukula has continued to DJ and produce tracks with different monikers, General Base, Candy Beat and THK.

Raze

Raze was an American electronic dance music group by the multi-instrumentalist and producer Vaughan Mason. Raze also included the vocalists Keith Thompson, Wanda Sykes, Bobby Coleman and DJ Stephon Johnson. The project is best known for the UK Dance (1994) and US Dance (1988) #1 hit, "Break 4 love". The song was released on a number of occassions (1988, 1990, 1994 and 2003).

Oddly enough Raze did not realise another track after "Break 4 love".

Rage

Rage (also known as En-rage) were an English dance oufit created by the producers Barry Leng and Duncan Hannant. The project featured vocals by Tony Jackson and later on by Steve Lee.
Under the name Rage, they released their first single in the end of 1992 "Run To You" (a cover of a Bryan Adams song) was a big European hit. It reached #3 on the UK singles chart and made #12 on the Dutch singles chart in late 1992. In early 1993, it made #14 on the German singles chart and spent a week at #1 on the Canada Dance chart.
The first (and the only) album was called Saviour, all sung by Tony Jackson, containing all the first hits. Then came the single Give It Up, still released in 1993. It was a cover of a single originally released by Creation (from the same producers, under Deconstruction records).

What happened next?
The project ceased with the last release, "My cryings done" in 1995. Duncan Hunnant went on write and produce songs with the latest known work, "Number One" in 2014. Steve Lee has continued a career as a successful songwriter.

Quincy Jones

Quincy Delight Jones, Jr. (or simply Quincy Jones) is an American born (Mar 14) record producer, conductor, arranger, film score composer, television producer, and trumpeter. In the 90s, he scored a US Dance chart topper in 1997 with "Stomp".

What happened next?
Quincy Jones is still producing in a career that has spans 7 decades.

Queen

Queen is one of most well known English rock bands of all time consisting of enigmatic lead singer Freddy Mercury, guitarist/singer Brian May, drummer Roger Taylor and bassist John Deacon. They formed in 1970. With countless hits in the 70s and 80s, they had continued success in the 90s including a #1 with "Innuendo". However, that was curtailed when Mercury died due an AIDS related illness. The re-issue of Bohemian Rhapsody as a result of Mercury's death and being featured on the Wayne's World soundtrack spent 5 weeks at UK#1. Brian May had a couple of solo UK Top 10 hits with "Driven by you" and "Too much love will kill you"

What happened next?
The legacy left by Queen is well documented. There is a musical, "We will rock you" as well as the Oscar-winning movie, "Bohemian Rhapsody". Between 2004-2009, Paul Rodgers (of Free fame) toured with Queen. From 2011, Adam Lambert joined and has been part of Queen ever since.

QFX

QFX are a Scottish Happy Hardcore / Trance act, formed in 1992 by producer Kirk Turnbull. Mainly known for tracks such as "Freedom", "Whiplash" and their rework of Moby's "Every Time You Touch Me". The former was their biggest hit to date after narrowly failing to reach the UK Top 40 upon first release in 1995. Vocals during that period were provided by Moiran Rankin.
